Locoris begins with a vault: a local workspace containing projects, folders, notes, canvases and planner data. The installed apps do not require an account for local use.

1. Name the vault

Choose a name that describes the space rather than a temporary task. You can create another vault later and switch between them without mixing their data.

2. Explore the demo space

A new installation includes a guided demo project. Open its note to see editor blocks, then move to the canvas, planner and orbital map. Delete the demo content when you no longer need it.

3. Create the first real project

Use projects for durable areas of work. Folders organize documents inside them. Titles can be edited where they appear, and changes remain within the active vault.

4. Decide how the vault should travel

Keep it local, connect it to Locoris Cloud, use Google Drive or configure self-hosted sync. Synchronization is attached per vault; creating an account does not silently upload every local vault.

5. Create a backup

Before importing, restoring or making large structural changes, create a precise Locoris backup. Use the readable ZIP export when you need content that can be opened outside Locoris.
