Locoris is designed around a distinction between local application data and information required to operate optional hosted services.

Local vaults

Installed applications can create and use local vaults without a Locoris account. Local content is not uploaded to Locoris Cloud unless the user connects that vault to the hosted service.

Hosted account data

Locoris Cloud may process account email, profile name, subscription and payment status, registered devices, vault identifiers, usage limits, operational events and support correspondence.

Synchronized content

Private vault content is encrypted by the client before hosted synchronization. Service metadata required to route, limit and maintain synchronization is handled separately from encrypted content.

Payment processing

Payment providers process information needed to complete and record a transaction. Locoris should retain provider identifiers and entitlement state rather than complete payment-card details.

Retention

Hosted data is retained while needed for service operation, security, billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backup recovery windows and account deletion handling.

Requests

Privacy and deletion requests can be sent to hello@locoris.app. Verification may be required before account data is disclosed or removed.
