A vault is the strongest everyday boundary in Locoris. It owns its hierarchy, documents, planner data, attachments, themes specific to that workspace and synchronization relationship.
Installed applications
Desktop and Android vaults are local-first. Closing the app or losing network access does not turn a synchronized vault into a remote-only document list.
Cloud Web
Cloud Web is an authenticated device in a Locoris Cloud account. It opens cloud-connected vaults and follows account entitlements. Browser storage can still be used for caches and local state, so clearing site data can remove browser-local information.
Multiple vaults
Use multiple vaults when data needs a separate lifecycle, synchronization destination or security policy. Do not create a new vault merely to represent a project; projects belong inside a vault.
Deleting a vault
Deleting locally, disconnecting from synchronization and deleting a cloud vault are different actions. Confirm the scope shown by the interface and create a backup before destructive operations.
